I'm curious. If you upload something to rapidshare that is someone elses copyright and they ask rapidshare to take it down, does rapidshare tell the copyright holder who uploaded it. What's the risk of prosecution?

I have over 13 GB of stuff hosted on both rapidshare.com and rapidshare.de, none of which I have the copyright to, so far no problems but I follow certain rules I set for myself,
1, DISGUISE THE ITEM'S NAME 2, NEVER POST ON A OPEN FORUM If I see someone that wants one of the items that I consider to be a "safe" person to give the details to, I will send them details via PM / E-mail |
