Simply wanna be a Mac user but dont wanna pay that much!

if you want MacOS you need to have MAC machine... you cannot just buy MACOS and install it on PC laptop... it is made for MAC machine... and if you have bought MAC it comes with OS, so you don't have to buy OS. Currently Leopard 10.5 OS is being shipped with Mac-laptops...

i read somewhere not too long ago on digg that you can actually build your own mac desktop for around $800 bucks, but as far as a laptop, i dont know if that is technically possible yet. my other recommendation would be to check out the refurbished macs on the apple website, those are generally offered at reasonable values.

It is possible to install Mac OS X on non-mac hardware(illegally of course). I've used an HP nx7400 with Tiger for about two months. It is as easy as setting up windows if you have the right hardware and you get benchmark scores close to regular macbooks.

You can get the installation disks from piratebay.org. Keywords are Kalyway, iatkos, uphuck.. This is not emulation, it runs natively.

You could also check for refurbished MacBooks. Got some refurbished items from Apple in the past and they were as good as new - and same warranty.

I dont recommend install Mac OS X on non-mac hardware, you take much problems with incompatible drivers.

You'll probably spend almost as much trying to get a system together to run the Mac OS. I'd look for a cheap refurbished machine.
